Solving the WTB LaserDisc XC wheel problem
I dropped down to my LBS in SF and promptly found the right rear brake mount part for the Hayes Stroker brakes.
The bigger issue was the WTB LaserDisc XC wheels. We had problems mounting Kenda tires and even WTB's own tires on the rim. The bead was not popping into place. We thought at first this was the Stan's Tubeless rim strip but we had the same problem with a regular tube. Turns out the deep channel in the rim is the problem and you need to put more rim tape to fill it so the tire's bead doesn't sink in it.
That really ate up quite a bit of my time. So much more to do before I leave...
