2 days, 4 days, 7 days

That's 2 more days of work, 4 days until I fly to South Africa, and 7 days until Stefan and I toe the start line at the Cape Epic. Wow. I can't believe its come up already. There is so much to do it's crazy. And then it seems you always have to work twice as hard the week before you take off for a trip. So I'm a bit stressed right now. Bikes, gear & supplies, logistics, and then I have to learn Dutch... (ok just kidding). Stefan speaks perfect English. I'm the idiot American who only knows Spanish. Not only rusty, but useless in South Africa. Anyways, coordinating efforts when your partner is a quarter world apart is a challenge but we've managed very well. We've been carefully going over our gear, checklists, etc - all the fun stuff of adventure travel.
